Hooray for Fingerpainting!

This is a fun if messy project. Jacob and I made homemade finger paint this morning. The recipe is here if you're interested. Just be careful not to cook it too long or it gets goopy and thick. Take it off the stove as soon as it begins to thicken.

Third Time's the Charm

After two earlier unsuccessful attempts this year Jacob has recently added a new skill to his repertoire ..the potty. This past week he only had a few accidents, much to my delight. I am so proud of my big boy! And very relieved that I won't have to have two little guys in diapers.

Halloween Party #2

Jacob insisted that he wanted to be a ghost for Halloween. I made him a costume and he loved it but could only stand to wear it for 5 minutes at a time, which is why he is not dressed up in this picture. When we went trick or treating later that night he only lasted for 3 houses before he was done with the costume and done with going from house to house.

Hey Lady!

Jacob has taken to calling me "Lady" in the last couple of days, rather than the usual "MawMaw". This morning he told me "nice try Lady" when we were playing catch. Where does he come up with this stuff?
