A couple little updates.

We are told by everyone that knows that the couple that owned our house were A) very nice and B) excellent gardeners.

They couldn't have been that good at gardening because whatever they did to our soil has turned our tomatoes into pumpkins.

Oh, and did I mention that Mimi finally broke down and let me get my mid-life crisis car? Now if only I can get the doors to open.....


I will probably be flogged by several different flavors of grandparent for not giving an update on the kids.


Jacob is an excellent big brother, he is about to be five. He has made some movies recently that are a mixture of stop frame and live action. I try not to guide him at all. Here are some particularly adorable shots (we'll consider them trailers) of Jacob. In this one he is a terrible lion.

In this shot the Lion is overcome by a small stuffed lizard.

One upshot of Jacob running around all day "Making Movies" is that we have some extremely candid shots of day to day life in the Johnson household.

It's no surprise to us of course that Simon is smiling in this photo as Jacob considers it his job to make him laugh

This video is solely of toast and includes a sound track. Our camera is full of these, apparently he was having a pretty good time.

This picture is extra large and extra cute to sooth any of our reader(s?) who may have watched the previous video out of some sense of obligation and may feel like they have been robbed of 30 seconds of their life. Welcome to the internet Friend!

We seem to have an overabundance of talking toast videos right now so for those looking for recent picture of the wonderful woman that I am married too, that won't get me sent directly to the doghouse for posting, please see below. I honestly only have two pictures of her on the entire camera and the card is full!!!!

Is it any wonder we have such happy beautiful kids!
